OK, lets get to some good stuff....
One of the dilemmas in swapping the Cummins into the ford is the cross member... it is too thick and it interferes with the low mount a/c pump. Most just cut the cross member down by about half and mount the A/C up high.
So by fabricating a new cross member and relocating that cross member further back I have solved those issues....
Here is the motor between the rails... notice that I have already cut down the stock cross member. White lines on the frame indicate the aproximate area of the frame rails to be removed.
