head gaskets/studs

how much would it run me to get new head gaskets/studs/egr delete done? how long does it typically take?

i still have the factory warranty but the thing keeps pukin and they wont really do anything about it. it never overheats just pukes about half teh overflow bottle out. im sorta frustrated and wanna just do the work even if igotta pay myself. dont wanna have this thing die on a long trip.

anyone know any dealerships that will install headstuds while doing the headgaskets? they are gonna do it under warramty just dont wanna install the studs. wanna do factory bolts.

Here is the deal the engine will continue to puke untill you actually do the job right. The heads need to be meassured and if they are out they need to be surfaced and the same with the block. The only reason I know this is because I have only done gaskets studs and egr delete and mine still continues to puke. Normally it is 1800 to 2100 or so for just studs and gasket change out including labor. You could also have a plug oil cooler to cause it to puke as well. The coolant ports clog up with the casting sand or what ever its called and coolant crap.

well shit if some one is doing them for cheaper than 1800 i might just go get mine redone and pay to get the heads and block resurfaced.

im still under warranty and the local ford dealer was gonna do it. they just wont do the studs. they want to use factory bolts. i just wanna see if anyone knows a dealership that would do the stud install under the factory warranty work.

they have done revised overflow,egr,and oil cooler. now they say only thing left is the headgaskets.

i know duprat ford in dixon has done head studs for people...they did it for my buddies dad and my neighbor....ask for craig
