I think he's saying go for it...and I'd agree with him. Those forged bushing's are plenty stout enough for what you want to do with them. Worst case scenario...if they break you can simply swamp them out for rod ends.

Exactly what I was trying to get across.

BINGO!

Now the only question is are you going to use the forged bushings at both ends of the trac bar or only one. If it were me...I'd use them at the axle end and go with a greasable bushing at the frame end. Something like this:

Good luck and post some pics of what you end up doing.

Ummmmm.....The forged bushing is greasable.....just like the one in your link above but it already has a threaded shank on it.

I know.

What I was trying to say was go with the bushing with the shank on the axle end and then simply go with the bushing with the sleeve on the frame end. It’ll be a little cheaper to build and just as strong. I don’t really see the need for adjustability at both ends on just a trac bar.

If I were to do it again, I would go with a heim joint at the frame and a bushing at the axle.  That way you get any articulation that you may need and some reprieve from jarring because of the bushing.  I have heim joints at both ends now and it rides harsh.  I am going to have to add a bushing at the axle and find out how it rides.
